Hi there, I was wondering on this statue which side of Ganesha's tusk is broken?
Large Dark Wooden Ganesh with Stunning Arch 48"
I had always learned that it was Ganesha's left tusk which was broken, but in the picture it seems like the right one is broken. I was curious if there is another story behind this and different meaning to the pose if the right side is broken? i just wanted to know before thinking about any purchase, thanks for any information you can provide!

I do not know of any story about his right tusk being broken. I always assumed it was how the artist was feeling that day was how he selected which side tusk to have broken. In the versions of the story I have seen I never saw it distinguished which side tusk being broken.
