This piece is made from a mold. The mold is filled with a combination of recycled lava stone powder that is left over from carving our lava stone statues, resin and glue which makes it extremely hard. The statue is made for the outdoors and can withstand any harsh environment of either extreme cold of heat. We have been selling this Buddha statue since 2011 and have not had one person email us about its durability. It is a garden statue!
